these ultra fast acting (FF) ceramic miniature cartridge fuses operate at higher temperatures and therefore are ideal for providing semiconductor (triac) device circuit protection.

They are intended to replace the removable cartridge fuse (for thermostats that have one), and NOT to replace the normal 3 amp fuse in the socket!
- Almost every single thermostat failure is due to a short in the heater that damages the sensitive triac, the semiconductor, of the thermostat.
- Poor quality bulbs that fail particularly frequently are the leading cause of triac failure in dimmable thermostats.
- Due to the potential damage this causes, HabiStat are now installing a cartridge fuse into their thermostats to protect the circuit from such failures.
- These two fuses are specifically designed to protect the triacs and these should only be used when replacing the existing cartridge fuse on the side of the thermostat, so when you need to change a fuse with a demand of more than 300 Watts, you need to use this 3 ,15A.
ATTENTION: The two fuses are specific for replacing the cartridge fuse and do not replace the normal 3 amp fuse found in the plug!!
