Derived from the external shell of the coconut, it is ideal for reptiles, amphibians and tortoises that live in humid habitats, typical of tropical forests, but not only. Being made of cocochips, it is coarser than normal formats. and this is particularly suitable for those who prefer a light and airy humus. This type of substrate is characterized by a high absorbent power and an excellent ability to retain humidity.
The material is not compressed even after the sterilization process by seeds, fungi, insect eggs and other pathogens.
Coconut has the extraordinary ability to absorb bad odors, helping you keep the odors in your reptiles room under control. The product is ready to use and does not need to be rehydrated before use.
Once used in your terrarium you can recycle and reuse the humus as soil for plants and flowers.
