Dehydrated sphagnum moss Terra Exotica

For your spawning dens, paludariums, aquaterrariums and humid terrariums, dehydrated sphagnum moss is comfortable and ideal: just immerse the block in water for the leaves to regain their shape and consistency. It is a substrate that contains many qualities: it is highly absorbent (it absorbs a quantity of water over 20 times its weight!) and has a mild antibacterial action, which limits the development of anaerobic bacteria.

When used as a moisture reserve for plants, it has the characteristic of forming a moist mass but always rich in oxygen, without causing asphyxiation to the roots.

It can also be used as protection against the cold in winter to cover the roots of plants.
