Antiseptic balm for turtles and reptiles with eye problems 20ml

It is a liquid mixture of 3 natural products with healing, antibacterial and antiseptic effects. The color of the preparation is golden brown - clear. Slightly bitter, pinching taste. Cooling effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes and respiratory tract.
Does your turtle or reptile have swollen eyes? The preparation is used to treat minor eye infections and is also suitable for the treatment of the oral cavity or skin, for example in hard-to-reach places between the skin and the turtle's shell.

How to identify signs of eye inflammation in aquatic turtles?
The turtle does not open its eyes and has swollen eyes: the most obvious signs include swollen and red eyelids and inflamed conjunctivae. Sticky secretions around the eyes or nostrils. The eyes are often closed, the turtle seeks little food, seeks warmth and stays on land.
This process can be repeated and can even lead to the death of the animal, in this case it is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT to consult a veterinarian!

Eye inflammation in reptiles and turtles in particular is often due to an unbalanced diet and, in the case of turtles, a lack of vitamin A.
For this reason, as a supportive treatment, the REVIT preparation should be integrated - after consulting your veterinarian - both on the feed and directly in the mouth (2-3 times a day, 2-3 drops).

In the first week, the Eye Balsam preparation should be applied twice a day (2 drops in each eye). After the sharp marks have subsided, the application should be continued once a day for at least 5 days. If the eyes are sticky and the turtle cannot open them, several drops should be applied to a cotton ball and wiped both the eyes.

The drops can also be applied preventively, i.e. once a week (2 drops per eye).

If you do not notice significant improvement within 5 days of starting the Turtle Eye Balm, consult your veterinarian again.

TIPS: The water in a turtle's aquaterrarium should be kept clean and have a temperature between 28°C and 30°C. In places where the turtle gets warm, the air temperature should be between 34°C and 35°C.
