The leaves of Theobroma cacao can be used both in terrariums and aquariums.
In the terrarium they will be excellent snacks for all detrivorous animals and insects, they are in fact an excellent source of nutrients, contain iron, magnesium and antioxidants and are known for their antibacterial, pain-relieving and antifungal, healing and anti-parasitic properties.
If used in the aquarium they are an extraordinary vitamin and mineral superfood for shrimp, crabs, tadpoles and snails.
Their tannin content is quite low, so if you don't want very colored water these are the ideal leaves for your aquariums.
