Almond pod - Badam
The use of natural products is increasingly widespread among aquarists and terrarists, thanks to in-depth scientific studies we can now better understand the interactions between natural products and improve the quality of life in captive habitats of even the smallest animals.
Don't miss the badam nut shell, a multifunctional shelter for all the small animals in your aquarium, from shrimp to snails from fry to tadpoles. However, if you want to place them in a terrarium they will be an excellent hiding place for small geckos, hermit crabs, crabs, insects and arachnids. Or a succulent snack for isopods, detrivores and scavengers.
The package includes: 1 pod.
Thanks to the thick, woody peel, the badam nut contains many beneficial substances, including tannins, trace elements and natural vitamins.
Tannins are released slowly into the water and offer different benefits:
- They color the water slightly yellow;
- They slightly increase the acidity of the water;
- They favor the creation of natural habitat;
- They have an inhibitory effect on bacteria and diseases.
Preparation tip: Boil for at least 30 minutes both before adding it to the aquarium or terrarium.
