Reptiles System Heating Strips

Reptile Systems Heat Strips are made from a polymer sheet which is then screen printed with a unique electrically conductive ink, giving them an ultra-flat profile. The features are the same as the mat, with the distribution of the heating compound allowing for a gradual decrease in temperature towards the edge of the heat strips, reducing the risk of glass breakage due to thermal shock. A high thermal response is guaranteed, combined with uniformity of heat across the rest of the surface. Each mat also incorporates thermistor properties as an additional safety feature.

Application:
The strips are ideal for heating reptiles, amphibians, insects, birds and small animals in the same way as the mats, but for those who do not require such a large heat source. They have the same adhesive backing, making it easy to install on the side or back of a glass terrarium. They can also be used for under tank heating, as long as the substrate is not too deep; use the feet provided to ensure good airflow.
