Vermiculite the PET FACTORY

Vermiculite is an ideal substrate for reptile egg incubation.

It is moistened according to the needs of the eggs, just place the eggs on the vermiculite remembering not to cover them completely.

If the incubation period is very long, it may be necessary to rehydrate the vermiculite.

Vermiculite is also used in the growing medium of peat, sphagnum and moss for its excellent moisture retention capacity.

This natural mineral is able to bind to itself 3-4 times the amount of moisture compared to its own mass.
