Tillandsia Aeranthos is an epiphytic plant of the Bromeliad family, native to South America, in particular Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina where it grows on trees, rocks and other surfaces without the need for soil.
This variety has long, thin leaves that grow to form a compact rosette. The leaves can vary in color, from bright green to gray.
During flowering, the plant produces a spike of small purple, pink or white flowers.

Useful information:
- Light: Prefers bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. If gradually accustomed they can tolerate full sun.
- Watering: spray it with distilled or rain water once a week in the cold period and at least twice a week in the warmer periods. Make sure that water does not accumulate in the rosette as this could lead to rot.
- Temperature: in areas with a mild climate, aeranthos can be grown outdoors all year round. However, it is not recommended to keep young plants outside with temperatures below 5°C.
- Fertilization: if you want to fertilize it, use our spray, it is a specific fertilizer for air plants; just spray it once every 4-5 waterings.
- Pruning: Remove or cut off any dead or damaged leaves to keep the plant healthy and improve air circulation.
