Tillandsia Ariza-Juliae grows in Central America, especially in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
You will get a plant of medium height. 9cm.
Although Tillandsia ariza-juliae is covered in silvery scales, it belongs to the green Tillandsia of the rainforest, and prefers a more humid environment than the so-called gray Tillandsia.
When T. ariza-juliae flowers, it produces a short inflorescence with many spikes. The flowers start out pink and then turn red.
Useful information:
Light: expose the seedlings in very bright and sunny environments but not in direct sunlight, also suitable for partial shade.
Watering: in the winter months, immerse the seedlings completely in water for a few minutes twice a month. It is advisable to turn the plant upside down, allowing any excess water to escape to avoid rotting. In the summer months water at least once a week.
Temperature: 15°C – 35°C. (It can be grown outdoors in areas with a mild climate)
Fertilization: if you want to fertilize it, use our spray, it is a specific fertilizer for air plants; just spray it once every 4-5 waterings.
Pruning: Remove or cut off any dead or damaged leaves to keep the plant healthy and improve air circulation.
