Kit 2,5% Neon e Plafoniera Arcadia Pro T5 UVB D3+ ShadeDweller-Max
The Arcadia Pro-T5 ShadeDweller-Max is the latest evolution in the range of crepuscular or semi-nocturnal animal lights. A 55cm full spectrum lamp is included which therefore includes 2.5% UVB.
Among the features:
- 2.5% UVB for the synthesis of vitamin D3;
- Suitable for animals called "shade dwellers", therefore crepuscular, nocturnal animals and also those that prefer dawn;
- Full spectrum lamp, specifically 12% UVA / 2.5% UVB.
One aspect of reptile husbandry that has been overlooked is proper UV lighting for snakes and crepuscular animals that are not regularly provided with D3-laced calcium.
Snakes such as pythons and boas, being longer and also more robust, require an important lighting area (projection area), so as to allow them good photo-thermal regulation. This will allow the snakes to move and behave naturally, without the risk of being exposed to higher levels of UV than is safe for them.
ShadeDweller-Max has been expertly crafted to provide optimal UV levels of approximately UVI 1.00-1.50 and 2.5% UVB even at 90cm.
The ShadeDweller-Max has been designed with the needs of captive snakes in mind, but this should not limit its use, it is equally a powerful tool for some lizards and amphibians that live in large terrariums.
Like all Arcadia Reptile lamps, it has full UV output for 12 months, even when used for up to 12 hours a day.
Using the latest technology the brand new SO-T5 reptile lamp consumes just 14 watts yet is twice as bright as older nocturnal animal lamps.
ShadeDweller-Max is suitable for use with almost all species of animals that we can find in the undergrowth of all the forests of the world, but it is also suitable for all those animals that come out of their dens and hiding places at sunset, it is suitable in fact to leopard geckos (Eublepharis macularius), Correlophus ciliatus, frogs such as Trachycephalus resinifictrix, Phyllomedusa bicolor etc.? It is also suitable for ball/pale pythons and other python species, corn snakes, king snakes, milk snakes, colubrids, garter snakes, hognose snakes, boas, mangrove snakes etc.
