Calathea vittata
The Calathea plant “Vittata” is an evergreen houseplant from Central and South America and the West Indies, which belongs to the Marantaceae family.
It has emerald green leaves, streaked with lighter green or white. It prefers semi-shaded areas and fears drafts, water regularly. Calathea has a special characteristic: the leaves close when the amount of light decreases.
The plant can almost always have small imperfections on the leaves, even when they have just left the warehouses of our producers. This could also happen to the leaves that the plant will generate in the future.
