HabiStat Orchid Bark Substrate is made from natural maritime pine bark chips that can be purchased as a fine or coarse grade, depending on your needs.
Repotting for orchids? Choose the "Coarse" shape, coarse, to allow the roots of your plants to breathe.
Substrate for young tortoises? Choose the "Fine" shape which will allow little ones to walk effortlessly.
Instructions for Use:
Distribute the substrate evenly on the base of the terrarium ensuring a depth of 5 cm. We recommend that you do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Clean as needed and replace regularly.
For pots and plants, adjust according to size.
Bark is a versatile substrate that can be used wet or dry; Spray with water daily to create high humility, or keep dry for an arid environment.
It is also perfect in the vegetable garden, both in the garden and on the balcony as a mulch to protect the soil from the scorching rays of the sun and any insects.
